Find Live Guy Competition
Overview
The LiveGuy brief from Dare Interactive asked us to support an unusual location-based online promotion for a new Vodafone branded notebook. The idea was a hunt for LiveGuy in various parts of the country. LiveGuy had Vodafone Notebooks to give away, but you had to find him first and then get to him. If you touched LiveGuy first you got the notebook.
Dare thought that our mapping expertise and IP were ideal for the project...but they needed it fast. In two weeks World Archipelago developers built the entire site - HTML, CSS and back end CMS. The work also included the consolidation of four separate 3rd party APIs.
Results
The campaign was a huge success with more than 70,000 Unique users. It also served as a prototype for other Vodafone sites on similar campaigns in other Vodafone markets.
