When Real Estate TV (RETV) approached World Archipelago in the spring of 2008 to re-develop their website the brief was to refresh the RETV brand, implement a highly effective property search tool capable of displaying over 800,000 properties from across Europe and Asia Pacific territories, and manage the ongoing property feed integration. Video was key to the project as RETV broadcast on Sky and had a back catalogue of video that could be published on the site.
We focussed on the two central tenants of the RETV strategy, namely the extensive use of video across the site and the integration of our next generation property search solution. Contextualised video content and advertisements provided users with the ability to view video content that related to their property search and access related promotional content.
We worked closely with RETV's internal teams to manage a variety of international property feeds and populate the site with over 800,000 properties from across Europe as well as farther afield destinations such as Thailand.
