Brief
We were tasked with designing and building a new website for Educational Children's programme Numberjacks, to support its magazine and merchandise roll out. As seen on cBeebies, Numberjacks is aimed at 4-8-year-olds and follows animated number-shaped characters who solve maths questions.
Result
The sites objective is to help build on the idea of helping children develop skills in maths via interactive games, videos and easy-to-learn lessons. We delivered this using the actual character animations from the show which are great properties to work with for our designers,
The site features information for parents and a shop offering branded merchandise and DVDs. The Numberjacks DVD has sold more than 150,000 copies and is a bestseller in the preschool market.
Nick Underwood, commercial director of Open Mind Productions, the company that makes the show, said, "We wanted a user-friendly site. Everything for children is written and in audio form."
