Overview

Nissan launched a new campaign for the launch of its latest Nissan Qashqaimotor - a kind of SUV variation they called the urban 4x4 vehicle. They wanted to build awareness for the brand across all Adult demos - even those champagne socialist types you wouldn't catch dead tooling down the Kings Road in a 4x4. You know, Guardian readers.

So the Guardian came up with a clever idea to get its readers involved with the brand: they asked us to create a big cool microsite which offered all those up market urbanitesthem various things to do in the metropolis and invited them to take part in an online art exhibition.

Campaign Elements

Urban Wild Card: Throw the virtual dice and find something crazy and free to do at the weekend

Urban Mural: The editor publishes a weekly theme and you the user have to go and photograph it and post it onto our very cool paralax wall. We then archive all the walls and try to persuade Nissan to do a real street art exhibition next year.

Urban Proof: a Message board that you can have your say, rant, rave, vote etc...
