World Archipelago has been a leader in the use of maps to visualise geographically-based data, e.g. properties for sale, for over 6 years. We ran a series of sponsored map campaigns for the Guardian, including an Origins 'organic' food map and Beefy & Lamby 'quality meat' map.

Via the mapping experience, users were able to search for and add reviews to results.

It was an out-of-the box solution - we designed, developed and hosted these mapping solutions - and The Guardian were able to reskin the map application very easily whilst retaining the backend technology and thus keep cost down.

Now, with our new User Generated component, you can let your audience plot their own information onto Google Maps. With optional pre- or post-moderation, we provide all the tools to quickly manage and publish user-contributed data. For clients without the time or production skills to use our tool, we can design and setup a new instance of our map plotting tool for you in a couple of days.
