Shiver me panties! Those Scurvy Rascals are a BAFTA-nominated TV show on Nickelodeon about piratin' scallywags on the hunt for underpants - they were also on the hunt for a digital agency to roll out the marketing campaign and site for the show.Results
The Adobe Flash site, aimed at boys aged seven and over, features a pirate name generator, the 'Gravity guffs' game and virtual 'pants gallery' in which users can customise their own pirate Y-fronts. All this as well as video highlights, trade information and other treasure.
World Archipelago initiated relationships between complementary companies and generated a massive amount of publicity, including spots on Radio 1, link ups with Sony PSP and MySpace marketing.
We won The FWA's ' Site of the Day' amongst other swashbucklin' digital buzz.
