Game Component / Sudoku
Overview
Sudoku has rapidly become a favourite game for puzzlers to play, and World Archipelago has developed 2 component engines that can be easily adapted to fit your needs.
Standard Sudoku
An interactive game that presents puzzlers with the standard 9x9 grid. Players enter their answers into the grid, or in note form if there are several possible answers for a square. Games can be saved for later completion.
CluedUp for The TelegraphPicture Sudoku
An innovative twist on the standard game that uses pictures instead of numbers to populate the grid. The basic rules remain the same but instead of entering numbers 1-9, the player has nine images to choose between. This provides a great way to use imagery and/or photos to create an on-brand game built around a proven and popular game engine.
Technical Details
These components are built in Flash and pulls in XML and external JPGs for easy reskinning. The component can be hosted by us and pulled into your site through an iFrame or directly through an OBJECT tag. Alternatively, you can host it although the Save Puzzle functionality would not work without further integration.
