Game Component / Matching Pairs
Overview
A classic, popular but simple game: see how quickly you can match all the pairs. Each card has either an identical twin or can be matched by theme, e.g. Tiger Woods with Golf. Games can be designed to work with events, themes or brands. Optional Send To A Friend and High Scores functions can be added as well.
Case Study
A&E Television Networks wanted a fun interactive to promote their showing of The Sopranos. We used our 'Matching Pairs' component to create Family Face-Off where you have to match the cards of leading characters in 90 seconds - or you're toast. Result? A sticky game that increases site user time and promotes the TV show. Plus, the game was developed in less than a week for a very cost effective budget.

Technical Details
This component is built in Flash AS3 and pulls in XML and external JPGs for easy reskinning. The component can be hosted by us and pulled into your site through an iFrame or directly through an OBJECT tag. If you want to host it then we can either disable the Send To A Friend and High Scores functions or we'll give you instructions on how they can be integrated.
