UGC Component / Map It Yourself
Overview
World Archipelago has been a leader in the use of maps to visualise geographically-based data, e.g. properties for sale, for over 6 years. Now, with our new User Generated component, you can let your audience plot their own information onto Google Maps. With optional pre- or post-moderation, we provide all the tools to quickly manage and publish user-contributed data. For clients without the time or production skills to use our tool, we can design and setup a new instance of our map plotting tool for you in a couple of days.

Technical Details
This component is built in HTML and JavaScript and pulls in XML from an external database. The mapping is provided by Google. The component can be hosted by us and pulled into your site through an iFrame. The moderation system is open-source and can be configured either for pre- or post-moderation.
